Client Operations Analyst (8 month contract) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Client Operations Analyst (8 month contract) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide information/support to Client Managers;
- Client reporting (ad hoc, daily, monthly, quarterly, annual – including report generation);
- Liaison with investment operations, Client Managers, PMs, performance & attribution, dealing, implementations, finance, fund operations;
- Effective query management and resolution;
- Effective liaison with back office administrators;
- Professional liaison with clients (new clients, restructures, performance, off-market trade queries, etc.);
- Contributing to ad hoc projects aimed at streamlining processes;
- Updating of CRM system;
- Identifying inefficiencies in processes;
- Checking monthly, quarterly investment statements and performance reports.
Requirements:
- Numerate;
- B Comm / B Bus Sci or other similar degree or qualifications;
- 2-3 years back office experience within the investment management industry, preferably in a role that required client interaction;
- Would also consider candidates from an accounting, auditing or consulting background;
- Financial accounting;
- MS Excel (Advanced);
- Client relationship management in the investment management industry ideal;
- Financial market knowledge (instruments and products).
