Responsibilities:
- Resilience;
- Preparation of key business drivers for group management reporting;
- Income tax and VAT compliance and submissions, month end reviews and variance reports;
- All financial reporting responsibilities at a group level;
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organisation skills;
- Experience in regulatory reporting;
- Collaboration with actuarial function to ensure all FSCA and other statutory requirements are complied with;
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and co-ordinate annual audits;
- Assume responsibility for the overall integrity and operation of both the financial and actuarial reporting for the company;
- Management and Statutory Regulatory Reporting: SAM, FSCA and Prudential Authority;
- Review the performance of the business using financial metrics;
- Technical experience with IFRS 17;
- Analyse and report on balance sheet recons and costs;
- Contribute strategically to the achievement of the companys vision and goals by guiding business decision-making;
- A self-starter who shows initiative and can work independently to solve problems.
Requirements:

- 5-year post article experience in a commercial environment in the insurance/financial services industry (in a non-audit environment);
- Experience in regulatory reporting;
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organisation skills;
- Strong finance-based analytical skill;
- Technical financial acumen;
- All financial reporting responsibilities at a group level;
- Resilience;
- CA (SA) essential;
- Experience in the compilation and submission of tax returns.
