Reporting Financial Manager

Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company’s regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Manager manages the financial reporting staff May work with external auditors to provide requested information. May assist with the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Additionally, Financial Reporting Manager requires a bachelor’s degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Responsibilities:

  • Year-end results processes, including the full external audit process and the preparation of IFRS compliant packs across the Group;
  • Monthly reporting of the entities’ results and reporting of these to the Executive and Management teams;
  • Management of client agreements and other operating expenses;
  • Ensure that the company is effectively administered and to resolve day-to-day Business Financial and Administration issues;
  • Implement and maintain a high standard of internal controls;
  • Reviewing the accounting records of the business i.e. general ledger with full month end accounting process and reconciliations;
  • Ensure a high standard of financial accounting and reporting;
  • Implementation of practical internal controls and their continued effectiveness;
  • Ensure that all systems (SRM, FRS, Accpac) are maintained without compromising financial effectiveness.
