Senior Manager: Risk Management — 2 Months Contract Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Manager: Risk Management — 2 Months Contract to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the formulation of organisation wide risk management policy, strategies and plans;
- Spearhead the identification, piloting and where required adoption of innovative approaches in risk management;
- Develop and maintain the Corporate Compliance Plan indicating compliance requirements, their frequency and verification methods;
- Direct the formulation and popularise organisation wide risk management frameworks, systems, procedures, approaches and tools;
- Establish and maintain the Corporate Risk Register and advise on relevant risk management projects;
- Direct the formulation and popularise organisation’s compliance management frameworks, systems, procedures, approaches and tools;
- Consolidate the business units’ continuity and disaster recovery plans into corporate plan;
- Lead the business risk analysis process to identify material risks facing the organisation based on impact and likelihood assessments;
- Support the process of the compliance policy approval by the Board;
- Support business units in addressing the identified strategic and operational risks;
- Oversee and monitor the implementation of organisation wide risk management policy, strategies and plans.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Risk Management/ Auditing or related fields;
- Professional registration with relevant bodies i.e. Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA);
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in risk and/or compliance management, 3 of which must have been at a management level.
