Export Practitioner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Export Practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to section cost control measures;
- Liaise with customers and agents on the shipping schedule;
- Supervising the team;
- Adherence and compliance to all HSEQ legislation, policy & procedures;
- Compile and submit reports as required;
- Contribute to systems improvements and ad hoc projects;
- Arrange necessary logistics for dispatches and efficiently plan production schedule.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ Supervisory/Managerial experience in Production or Logistics environment;
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in logistics/Industrial Engineering;
- Electronic and telephonic availability after hours (24/7);
- Office based;
- 5 years’ experience in Production or Logistics environment;
- Export experience to countries such as Germany, Japan, Canada, South Korea or the US;
- Liaising with logistics service providers such as rail transport, road transport, customs, port authorities, shipping lines and overseas warehouses.
