Stock / Store Administrator (Food Industry) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Stock / Store Administrator (Food Industry) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Issue correct stock documentation and supporting documentation for stock issued and transferred;
- Update stock management system accurately for stock movements (received, issued, returned or transferred);
- Be involved in stock count process and update stock management system accurately;
- Interact daily with staff or customers on matters relating to stock or deliveries;
- Assist with planning of daily delivery routing;
- Ensure correct and complete documentation is received for stock movements (received, issued, returned or transferred);
- Investigate stock discrepancies;
- Assist and support staff in stores department.
Requirements:
- Must have proven experience in an administrative role in a stock management environment;
- Must have experience of working on a recognised stock management system (SAGE/SAP etc.);
- Must have at a least Matric certificate with a pass in Mathematics/Physical Science;
- Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
