Manager ICT Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Manager ICT to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Line management of the ICT team;
  • Service-level management (Availability and Capacity management, IT service continuity management and Information security management);
  • Formulation and implementation of an annual ICT Strategy/Plan and associated budget;
  • Service operation management (Event and incident management, access management, request tracking and fulfilment);
  • Service transition management (Change management, Service asset and configuration management and Release and deployment management).

Requirements:

  • ICT/Devops Automation e.g. puppet, ansible;
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as intrusion detection, prevention and hacking countermeasures;
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in IT;
  • Service Desk/Issue Management – Jira Service Desk;
  • Software Build Automation e.g. Maven, Jenkins, Nexus;
  • At least 5 years’ experience as team leader/manager in an IT corporate environment;
  • Source control management e.g. Git, Subversion;
  • Monitoring e.g. Nagios, Zabbix, Zenoss.
