Our company is looking for a game reserve security manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train and supervise security officers/guards;
- Develop and implement, and communicate security policies, protocols and procedures;
- Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols;
- Assist in emergency management and contingency planning;
- Ensure compliance with quality, health and safety rules, guidelines and regulations;
- Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology);
- Create reports for management on security status;
- Arrange for or perform executive protection activities;
- Investigate and resolve issues;
- Review reports on incidents and breaches;
- Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses;
- Assess security risks and ensure that proportionate measures are in place to protect guests, staff, buildings, game animals, assets and reputation;
- Ensure that all security staff (Babanango Game Reserve’s and contracted), perform as one team, act in synergy and in the best interests of BGR;
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms;
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
