Our company is looking for a Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Telesales and Tender pricing;
  • Continuously improve through feedback;
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships;
  • Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers;
  • Improve product knowledge and sales techniques;
  • Ensure administration is up to date by completing weekly, monthly, quarterly reports;
  • Assist clients with any technical or sales enquiries;
  • Cold call on prospective clients;
  • Submission of planners and reports as requested by Sales Manager;
  • Achieve sales budgets on a consistent basis;
  • Establish relationships internally with all departments that support sales;
  • Be proactive in anticipating trends at the customer and in the market place;
  • Ability to accurately plan/ manage customer and company inventory on a monthly basis;
  • Cold calling;
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Clear credit record, with no criminal record;
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience on SAP would be an advantage;
  • Generating leads;
  • Fluent in English (Afrikaans advantageous);
  • Well presented and spoken;
  • 4+ years experience in a similar capacity in transport;
  • Competitive yet able to work in a team;
  • Possess previous sales experience in the medical insurance sector;
  • Availability for change of residence: Yes;
  • Own car and drivers license;
  • Stress management;
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM;
  • Language(s): English;
  • Communication skills;
  • DIY Product knowledge — hand tools, power tools, paint/paint mixing servicing the building industry.
