Field Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, with a focus on rotating equipment and condition monitoring. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting condition monitoring data, performing field services such as laser alignment and balancing, assisting with machinery fault diagnosis, and supporting clients in improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery, including pumps, fans, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Conduct condition monitoring activities, including vibration data collection and analysis.
• Utilize laser alignment techniques to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Compile detailed service reports, documenting findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
• Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Travel to client sites as required and be available for overtime and shutdown work.
