Senior Commercial Procurement Opportunity

Our client, a leading company with a focus on strategic sourcing and contractor management, is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee their commercial procurement operations in Mpumalanga. Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive commercial sourcing strategies.
Lead the preparation of RFx and tender documentation.
Develop pricing models, payment terms, and evaluation criteria.
Drive supplier engagement, evaluate bids, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Lead negotiations with suppliers from planning to contract award.
Manage the full contract lifecycle including implementation, compliance, renewals, and amendments.
Maintain accurate contract administration and governance processes.
Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance.
Resolve contractual queries and address supplier performance issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimise commercial outcomes.
Build and sustain robust relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to organisational policies and governance standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Law, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Proven experience managing commercial tenders, negotiations, and contracts.
Strong commercial acumen with analytical skills supporting strategic decisions.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Competencies in Management, Analytics, Critical Thinking, Business Analysis, and Project Management.
Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
Familiarity with the following:
Strategic sourcing and tender processes
Contract lifecycle management
Supplier performance monitoring
Procurement governance standards
