Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Technology Lead Digital Solutions Commercial to join the Digital & Technology team at CCBA. The role will report to the Group Head: Digital Solutions Commercial
CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue, and the largest on the continent. It accounts for over 40% of all Coca-Cola ready-to-drink beverages sold in Africa by volume. With over 14 000 employees in Africa, CCBA group services more than 800 000 customers with a host of international and local brands. CCBA group operates in 14 countries: South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi and the islands of Comoros and Mayotte.
The Technology Lead Digital Solutions Commercial will provide technical leadership and governance for the delivery of commercial digital solutions by ensuring high-quality development practices, effective release management, scalable and sustainable solution design, and strong collaboration across teams. The role is accountable for driving successful technical implementation while mentoring developers, enhancing team capability, and supporting the continuous improvement of digital platforms and services.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Technical Delivery Leadership : Lead the technical delivery of commercial digital solutions and platform enhancements?
- Development Standards & Quality Assurance : Ensure development quality, coding standards and technical best practices are consistently applied?
- Release & Technical Operations Management : Coordinate development activities, releases and technical issue resolution?
- Solution Scalability & Performance : Support solution scalability, performance and maintainability through effective technical leadership?
- Team Coaching & Capability Development : Mentor and guide developers to improve delivery capability and technical maturity.?
- Cross-functional Technical Collaboration : Collaborate with product and architecture teams to ensure successful solution implementation
