Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Technology Lead Digital Solutions Commercial to join the Digital & Technology team at CCBA. The role will report to the Chief CIO
CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue, and the largest on the continent. It accounts for over 40% of all Coca-Cola ready-to-drink beverages sold in Africa by volume. With over 14 000 employees in Africa, CCBA group services more than 800 000 customers with a host of international and local brands. CCBA group operates in 14 countries: South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi and the islands of Comoros and Mayotte.
The Lead Vendor Management will oversee and optimise the organisation's IT vendor and software asset portfolio by driving effective vendor governance, contract and service level management, performance monitoring, cost optimisation, and risk compliance. The role ensures that external technology partners deliver value, quality, and innovation aligned to business requirements, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and managing software licensing and subscriptions to maximise utilisation, compliance, and commercial effectiveness.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Vendor Governance & Management : Manage the IT vendor portfolio through structured governance, performance reviews and relationship management practices ?
- Contract & SLA Management : Ensure contracts, service levels and commercial terms are defined, tracked and delivered in line with business requirements ?
- Performance & Service Assurance : Monitor vendor delivery, service quality and compliance, driving corrective action where performance gaps exist ?
- Sourcing & Negotiation Support : Support procurement led sourcing, tendering and negotiation processes to secure value, quality and appropriate risk coverage ?
- Cost & Value Optimisation : Drive cost efficiency, license optimisation and value realisation across IT vendor spend ?
- Risk & Compliance Management : Ensure vendor arrangements meet security, data privacy, regulatory and internal control requirements ?
- Stakeholder Partnership : Partner with business, technology, procurement and legal teams to align vendor delivery to business needs?
- Software Asset & License Optimisation : Manage software licensing and subscription portfolios to ensure compliance, utilization and cost effectiveness ?
