Regional Accountant

Network Finance
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting function for multiple branches within the region
- Prepare monthly management accounts and regional financial reports
- Analyse branch performance and provide meaningful commercial insights
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and operational expenditure
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, VAT, and company reporting requirements
- Partner with branch and regional management to improve profitability and operational performance
- Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Assist with annual financial statements and month-end reporting
- Mentor and support finance administrators across the region where required
Minimum Requirements:
- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- SAIPA or SAICA Articles will be advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a full-function accounting role
- Previous experience in a multi-site, branch, or regional finance environment will be advantageous
- Experience within facilities management, hygiene services, logistics, security, cleaning services, or other service-based industries is highly advantageous
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP or integrated financial systems
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
