Location: Remote (South Africa) - working for a UK-based client, targeting the US market
About the opportunity
The Talent Team (TTT) is recruiting on behalf of an established recruitment specialist covering Civil, Structural and Building Services Engineering, Utilities, Transport Infrastructure, and Energy - now expanding into the US market.
You'll be employed and payrolled by TTT under our Employer of Record (EOR) model, working remotely from South Africa - but you'll work directly under our client's direction, systems, and culture day to day. TTT provides your IT kit at no cost to you: a Dell laptop, 24-inch monitor, keyboard, mouse, and a Jabra Evolve headset.
This is a true business-development role: you'll open new blue-chip US accounts for our client, not just deliver against an existing pipeline. It's a hunter role built around sustained outbound effort - the early "donkey work" of new business, with a real opportunity to shape a brand-new desk.
What you'll be doing
- Driving outbound/cold outreach to open new East Coast US accounts, starting with our client's existing global blue-chip accounts
- Building relationships and winning new business, not just filling roles
- Working a genuine 360 desk - from business development through to delivery
What we're looking for
- ~5 years' genuine US market recruitment experience - real market knowledge, not a line on a CV
- Background adjacent to supply chain, logistics, engineering, construction or manufacturing (excluding Education, Tech, and Healthcare)
- Genuinely salesy and hungry - built to win new business
- Comfortable with sustained outbound/cold outreach as the core of the role
- East Coast US experience is a strong plus
