Insurance or Doctor Recruitment

Location: South Africa, Remote
Employment Structure: Independent Contractor
Standard Working Hours: 11:30 pm to 8:00 am SAST
Flexibility: The successful candidate must be willing and able to work outside standard hours from time to time. This is particularly important when recruiting doctors as they will often return calls or become available after normal business hours.
Salary Range: R14 000 to R 38 000 per month depending on experience and expertise

Commission and Bonus Opportunity

Once established in the role, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to earn commission and performance based bonuses in addition to their monthly remuneration. Further details regarding the incentive structure will be discussed during the hiring process.

About the Role

We are seeking a confident and commercially minded 360 Recruitment Consultant to join a growing recruitment business servicing the Australian market. The successful candidate must have proven 360 recruitment experience along with recruitment experience specifically within either the insurance industry or doctor recruitment. This is a client facing position requiring someone who can confidently manage the complete recruitment lifecycle while developing strong relationships with clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle including business development, client engagement, sourcing, interviewing, placement and post placement follow up
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client hiring requirements, company culture and ideal candidate profiles
• Proactively source and engage suitable candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases and headhunting
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess experience, communication skills and cultural fit and understanding of career goals and motivators.
• Present qualified candidate shortlists to clients with clear recommendations, presenting suitable client shortlists to the candidate with clear recommendations
• Coordinate interviews and manage feedback between clients and candidates
• Manage offers, negotiations and candidate onboarding
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Work towards individual recruitment, placement and business development targets
• Maintain accurate candidate and client information within the recruitment system

Must Have Requirements

• Proven 360 recruitment experience with responsibility across both client and candidate management
• Recruitment experience specifically within either the insurance industry or doctor recruitment
• Strong client facing experience with the confidence to build and manage professional relationships
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong sourcing, interviewing and candidate qualification capabilities
• Resilience, confidence and a commercially driven approach
• Ability to work independently and perform within a target driven environment
• Ability and commitment to work Australian business hours
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required to accommodate candidate availability, particularly doctors who may return calls after hours
• Nice to have experience working with Jobadder as a CRM.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with candidates to build strong relationships & provide trusted career advice / options
• Confidence in negotiating and strong influencing skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn new / complex information

International Experience

Previous international recruitment experience is strongly preferred. Ideally, candidates will have experience working across different international time zones and can demonstrate a proven ability to consistently work hours outside of standard South African business hours. Candidates must be comfortable and genuinely committed to working Australian business hours on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate is confident, resilient and highly personable with the ability to build credibility quickly with both clients and candidates. While overall years of experience can be flexible, 360 recruitment experience and either insurance or doctor recruitment experience are essential requirements. Cultural fit, communication ability, commercial awareness and the confidence to represent the business professionally are equally important.
