Cape Town (V&A Waterfront) | Hybrid Working | R40,000 – R65,000 per month + Uncapped Commission

Looking for a recruitment role where you're trusted to run your own desk, earn exceptional commission and work across some of Africa's most exciting technical markets?
There is also opportunity to recruit into the US and European markets as well.

We're partnering with a growing specialist recruitment business that operates across the Mining, Metals and Energy sectors throughout South Africa and the wider African continent, as well as Europe and the US.

Backed by an established international group, they've combined the agility of a high-growth business with the stability, investment and global reach needed to build something special.
They're now looking for an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant (or an established Lead Consultant) to help grow their presence across Africa, Europe and the US.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys winning new business, building genuine client relationships and recruiting within technically complex markets. You'll have the freedom to develop your own specialist niche while working with mining operators, EPCs, OEMs, mining services businesses and energy organisations across Africa.

The Role

You'll take ownership of a full 360 recruitment desk, covering:

• Business development and client acquisition
• Account management and relationship building
• Technical candidate sourcing and headhunting
• Managing recruitment processes from brief through to placement
• Developing new markets across South Africa and the wider African continent, US and Europe.
• Work on salaries of $50,000+ (R800,000)
• Average fees of $25,000+ (R400,000)

While Mining & Metals will be your primary focus, you'll also have the opportunity to recruit across Energy, Renewables and associated commercial functions.

Our client is also open to someone working on commercial, finance and operations roles.

About You

• Has several years' experience in agency recruitment within a full 360 role
• Loves business development and is comfortable generating new clients
• Is commercially driven and highly motivated by financial success
• Currently billing at the R1,800,000+ level
• Can work independently without the need for close management
• Builds long-term relationships with clients and candidates
• Has experience recruiting into technical, engineering, infrastructure, energy or industrial markets (highly desirable)
• Has international recruitment experience (advantageous but not essential)
