Our company is looking for a Commercial Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating and monitoring service level and stock holding agreements with key customers and suppliers;
  • Managing budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements;
  • Assessing and managing working capital risk;
  • Customer service;
  • Raw Material Warehouse;
  • Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term;
  • Finished Goods Stores;
  • Analysing the business performance, including the profitability, revenue and pricing;
  • Estimating;
  • Contracts and Tenders;
  • Procurement;
  • Partnering with business managers to drive financial performance;
  • Costing.

Requirements:

  • Key account and retail experience;
  • Cross functional ability – working knowledge / actual positions held;
  • Working in a matrix structure;
  • Extensive experience (8-10 years) in a senior commercial management position (including strategy development and P&L accountability);
  • Broad based FMCG experience across categories;
  • Foodservice knowledge, experience and working relationships;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to negotiate;
  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree is required;
  • Good broad understanding of business processes and controls;
  • Good appreciation of IT Systems and implementation skills;
  • Completed articles;
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is essential;
  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience on commercial management, financial analysis and business processes, reporting and documenting;
  • Experience in delivering timeous and accurate management information in a challenging and dynamic commercial environment.
