A leading records storage and management company is seeking a hunter-minded Software Sales Executive with business analysis experience. You will sell Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), digitisation and digital transformation solutions alongside physical document storage and archiving services, helping businesses automate and modernise how they manage information. Key Responsibilities
- Sell the full range of records management services, with a key focus on Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Position complementary offerings including offsite document storage, archiving, scanning/digitisation and consumables
- Sell to and support both end users and channel partners across all routes to market
- Identify, target and win new clients through cold canvassing and cold calling (hunter role)
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision makers, key buyers and partners
- Conduct business analysis to uncover client pain points and process-improvement opportunities
- Run the full sales cycle: qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP and tender responses, negotiation and closing
- Own all new deals in your funnel and hand over to account management after closing
- Spend roughly 80% of time closing deals and 20% on lead development and coaching inside sales reps
- Develop new sales approaches such as data-driven selling and partnering
- Feed prospect insights back to the marketing and product teams Requirements
- 2–5 years' experience in sales, new business development or business analysis within the software industry
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing deals
- Ability to explain technical product capabilities and show how they meet client needs
- Strong administration skills and the ability to compile tenders
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
- Grade 12; Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT or related field
- Excellent computer literacy and good knowledge of IT systems
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and creative problem solving
- Bilingual
