Process Analyst - Finance

Job Description:
- Support the analysis of current finance processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in mapping end-to-end processes using tools such as Visio, Miro, or similar platforms.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation, including SOPs and controlled process libraries.
- Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analysing data to support process insights and decision-making.
- Help prepare reporting packs, presentations, and KPI dashboards.
- Coordinate with finance teams to schedule workshops, testing sessions, and feedback discussions.
- Assist in preparing training materials, user guides, and change communication documentation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process simplification.
- Support the adoption of new systems, tools, and process methodologies.
- Contribute ideas and insights to drive efficiency and enhance overall finance operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Basic understanding of finance or business processes
- Data analysis skills (Excel/Sheets essential; Power BI a plus)
- Experience with process mapping tools or workflow diagrams
Qualification:
- A degree in Finance or a related field.
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles would be advantageous.
- An Engineering degree or Master’s is also considered, provided the candidate has relevant experience within a finance environment.
