Job Description:
This position involves:
- Developing and maintaining robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Managing annual budgets and financial planning processes
- Preparing monthly management accounts with meaningful exception reporting
- Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing annual financial statements and coordinating external audits
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Monitoring cash flow and maintaining accurate forecasts
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Managing relationships with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and key stakeholders
- Supporting automation, digitisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience:
- 3+years’ of financial management experience
- 2 years post-articles commercial experience
- Experience working in an SME, multi-entity, or group environment
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and budgeting
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (Sage, or similar)
- Exposure with using financial statement, drafting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- CA (SA) – non-negotiable
