We have an amazing opportunity for a Junior Treasury Accountant at a reputable financial services firm based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is:
- Manage daily cash management activities, perform bank reconciliations, monitor daily liquidity, and support overall treasury operational workflows.
We require a candidate with
- BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a treasury or cash management role.
- Strong proficiency in bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and electronic banking platforms.
- Working knowledge of relevant financial compliance and regulations (including FICA/FAIS compliance).
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
