Materials Controller - Elandsfontein

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Post-school qualification or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Warehousing (advantageous).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in warehousing, stock control, or project logistics.
- Experience within the electrical, solar, construction, or industrial environment is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) components, including inverters, batteries, racking systems, and cables, is advantageous.
- Computer literacy with experience using inventory or ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, pick, pack, and stage project materials according to approved Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ensure complete project kits are dispatched accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate dispatch readiness in line with project timelines.
- Identify and communicate stock shortages before project deadlines.
- Receive, bin, label, and organise incoming stock.
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records.
- Perform regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare stock ageing and inventory reports.
- Process returned project materials and assess their condition.
- Quarantine and record faulty items for warranty claims.
- Reconcile reusable and scrap inventory.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all returned stock.
- Coordinate deliveries with logistics and project teams.
- Prepare dispatch documentation and delivery notes.
- Verify and file proof of delivery documentation.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure delivery completeness.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure warehouse compliance with SHEQ standards and company procedures.
- Conduct regular housekeeping and safety inspections.
- Ensure racking, storage areas, and hazardous zones comply with safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
