Procurement Specialist (Luxury Interior Design)

Based in Pretoria East, you will take ownership of supplier relationships, source distinctive local and international products, and help shape a world-class product offering across multiple luxury projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source furniture, lighting, finishes, sanitaryware, décor and bespoke products
- Identify and develop local and international suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, terms and commercial agreements
- Obtain quotations and compare supplier options
- Research new products, materials and industry trends
- Support designers with product and finish selections
- Coordinate supplier presentations and product launches
- Maintain supplier databases, specifications and procurement information
- Manage and grow the sample library
- Monitor supplier quality and performance
- Identify cost savings without compromising design or quality
- Support procurement planning across multiple projects
Requirements
- 3–7 years’ sourcing, procurement or purchasing experience
- Experience in interior design, architecture, construction, furniture, hospitality or luxury residential projects
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Education
A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, interior design, business or a related field is advantageous.Soft Skills
Professional, proactive and commercially minded, with strong communication skills, integrity and a genuine passion for design. Curiosity, initiative and confident problem-solving are essential.Salary
