Position Overview: We are seeking a top-class Housekeeper for a 5 star establishment who is also a skilled Cook and Baker to join our household. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary skills, outstanding service abilities, and meticulous cleaning expertise and a proven track record. This role requires a dependable, honest, and professional individual who takes pride in their work and can maintain a high standard of service. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping: - Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all areas in the home. - Perform meticulous laundry and ironing duties. - Ensure proper care and maintenance of household items and maintain all living areas and rooms Cooking: - Prepare daily meals based on dietary preferences and nutritional needs. - Plan and execute menus, including special meals for events or guests. - Manage kitchen inventory and grocery shopping. Baking: - Create a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts. - Ensure all baked items are prepared with the highest quality ingredients and presentation. Ensure exceptional hygiene and front of house appearance Qualifications: - A relevant qualification is preferred or a minimum of 8 years experience - Proven experience in housekeeping, cooking, and baking. - Strong culinary skills with a variety of cooking and baking techniques. - Excellent time management and organisational skills. - Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs. - Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness. Personal Attributes: - Highly dependable and trustworthy. - Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements: - Must reside in Paarl or surrounding areas. - Flexibility to work overtime as needed. - Valid references from previous employers. Must be South African or have bonafide work permit.
