Ladies Merchandiser to manage the full merchandising process from order placement through to final production and shipment. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, pattern makers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure that orders are delivered according to required quality, pricing, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full merchandising process from order placement through to final production and shipment .
• Liaise with and manage relationships with customers on a daily basis.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers, pattern makers, production teams, and other relevant departments.
• Follow up on samples, approvals, fabrics, trims, and production deadlines.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure orders are completed and delivered on time.
• Check garment specifications, measurements, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate order sheets, costing information, production documentation, and delivery records.
• Track fabric and trim availability and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Monitor order progress and ensure all critical deadlines are met.
• Identify and resolve production, quality, costing, or delivery issues promptly.
• Communicate order updates and production progress to customers and management.
• Ensure customer requirements and specifications are accurately communicated to production teams.
• Ensure all orders meet required quality, price, and delivery standards .
• Follow up on outstanding approvals and ensure delays are communicated timeously.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth movement of orders through the production process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date merchandising records and documentation.
• Perform general merchandising and production coordination duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) .
• Relevant qualification in Fashion, Clothing Technology, Merchandising, Apparel Production, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Ladies’ Wear Merchandiser within a clothing/apparel manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ladies' garments, fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes .
• Good understanding of garment specifications, costing, and quality requirements.
• Experience managing orders from placement through to production and shipment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
