Credit Risk Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with leading financial institutions, helping them develop, validate, and enhance sophisticated credit risk models while gaining exposure to cutting-edge methodologies, technologies, and industry best practices.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and contribute to the development and review of credit risk models for both provisioning and regulatory capital requirements.
- Support the planning, execution, budgeting, and delivery of complex risk management projects.
- Drive the automation and enhancement of financial risk models using modern programming tools and techniques.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Engage with a diverse range of clients, from local credit providers to globally significant banking institutions.
- Translate complex quantitative concepts into practical business insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience in credit risk modelling , including areas such as IFRS 9, scorecards, and regulatory capital models .
- Solid understanding of modern statistical techniques and credit risk methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SAS, and/or R .
- Proven ability to manage projects, lead workstreams, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing talent.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science , or a related field.
- FRM qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a quantitative credit risk environment.
