Credit Manager/Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the review and approval of commercial credit proposals, Credit assessment and credit worthiness of the customer.
- Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
- Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants' credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information.
- File Verification in terms of established credit guidelines, process and approval, maintain a good balance between returns and risks exposure.
- Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
- Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers' needs.
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Market financial products to individuals and firms, promoting AFCL services that may meet customers' needs.
- Updating and submitting monthly data to credit bureau as per banking regulations, updating and preparing daily reports.
- Ensure all regular monthly reporting is generated for management review.
Desired Profile
- Must have Credit management exposure.
- Must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
- Understanding of retail finance.
Educational Qualifications
- Commerce of Finance Graduate.
Relevant years of Experience
- Between 6-8 years of experience (Overall).
Competencies
- Relationship building.
- Communication & Interpersonal skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Credit management.
Industry Preference
- Banks.
