Our company is looking for a Portfolio Manager: HCV & Commercial to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that risks are written within the company’s risk appetite and complies within the reinsurance treaties and internal mandates;
- Monitoring and taking corrective action on badly performing risks;
- Maintain policy wording drafts and ensure that the product remains competitive with market offering;
- To canvass new Financial Intermediaries specializing in Heavy commercial and commercial business;
- Call on existing Financial intermediaries;
- Providing brokers with advice;
- Maintain an acceptable loss ratio;
- Dealing with day to day queries and amendments to existing policies.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed the RE 5 Examination Level 1;
- Problem solving and analysis;
- Customer service orientated;
- Good communication skills;
- Experience in working with HCV and Commercial products;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Policy, product and systems knowledge;
- 3 years’ experience as a broker consultant / portfolio manager;
- NQF Level 4: Short-Term Commercial Lines 60 Credits;
- Numerical skills;
- Interpersonal Skills;
- Detail oriented;
