Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Pretoria. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and assist senior quantity surveyors in managing cost management and quantity surveying tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and further develop their skills in the field of quantity surveying.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Support in managing quantity surveying tasks, including take-offs and measurements
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost control and adherence to budget
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts and progress reports
- Conduct site visits and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as required
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in quantity surveying or a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing measurements and calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Salary: negotiable
