General Manager - Western Cape

Overview:
An internal vacancy at a national integrated security services provider for a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and operational leadership across the Western Cape region, driving operational excellence, financial performance, business growth, client satisfaction and employee engagement.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Degree or diploma in Business Management, Operations Management, Security Management, Risk Management or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years' operational management experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership or General Management role
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations across geographically dispersed locations
- Demonstrated financial management, budgeting and operational planning experience
- Strong leadership experience managing large operational teams
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Private security industry experience advantageous
- Experience in facilities management, outsourced services, logistics, hospitality, retail or similar operational environments also considered
- Valid driver's licence
- Computer literacy with strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- PSIRA registration advantageous

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across the Western Cape branch
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring service delivery meets contractual and client expectations
- Manage regional financial performance, budgets, profitability and cost control
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships for satisfaction and retention
- Lead and develop high-performing operational teams through coaching, performance management and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual and governance requirements
- Identify and implement operational improvements, efficiencies and innovative solutions
- Support business development initiatives and sustainable regional growth
- Champion digital transformation and effective use of operational technology platforms
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives
