Job & Company Description:
A leading organisation within the logistics environment is looking for a driven Industrial Engineer to strengthen its operational optimisation capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing optimisation and continuous improvement projects.This role requires someone who can combine technical Industrial Engineering expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving capability . You will work with operational data, develop analytical dashboards and translate findings into practical solutions that improve business processes and operational performance.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, resilient and comfortable taking ownership of projects from problem identification and analysis through to solution development and implementation .
Education:
- BEng Industrial Engineering or MEng Industrial Engineering
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3–7 years' relevant Industrial Engineering experience
- Proven experience implementing optimisation projects
- Strong exposure to continuous improvement and process improvement
- Experience analysing and implementing business processes
- Strong data analytics and problem-solving capability
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and develop practical, business-focused solutions
- Strong Power BI capability, including dashboard development and DAX
- Exposure to Python or R would be advantageous
- Exposure to simulation software such as Arena or Simul8 would be advantageous
- Strong personality with the grit and resilience to operate in a demanding environment
- Adaptable, hardworking and willing to go above and beyond to deliver results
