Job & Company Description:
A well-established engineering solutions provider is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their high-performing team. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen, requiring someone who can confidently engage with clients, understand their operational challenges, and recommend fit-for-purpose mechanical solutions.You will be responsible for growing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, conducting site visits, and providing technical support on a range of industrial gearbox, bearing, and power transmission products. The successful candidate will work closely with customers across mining, manufacturing, processing, and heavy industrial environments.
Education:
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- BTech Mechanical Engineering will be advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years' sales experience within the industrial engineering sector
- Proven experience selling industrial gearboxes, bearings, power transmission products, or rotating equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain technical product applications
- Experience servicing clients within mining, manufacturing, FMCG, steel, cement, or related industries
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective engineering solutions
- Strong business development and account management experience
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience conducting site assessments and technical consultations
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
- Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, and technical reports
- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets
