- Process customer orders accurately from initial booking right through to final invoicing.
- Stay in touch with factory, warehouse, and office staff to keep orders moving.
- Track outstanding backorders and give helpful updates to your clients.
- Answer incoming sales phone calls and assist callers with their queries.
- Prepare and send out clear written quotes to clients and external reps.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to an allocated team of sales reps.
- Check online e-platforms regularly to download incoming customer orders.
- Perform general office administration duties to support the internal office manager.
- Experience working in order processing, customer service, or internal sales administration.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- A friendly, helpful attitude with strong communication and phone skills.
- Experience using Sage 300
- An industrial lighting background is a helpful bonus!
