3D Animation artist and modeller

Pretoria-based VR training company, STS3D — a leader in immersive safety and skills development solutions for the mining and industrial sectors — is looking for a 3D Animator to join our 3D animation department.
What you will be doing
Animating existing 3D models and characters according to project spec using reference footage.
Rendering and compositing image sequences.
Build and texture 3D models to required project specifications.
Simple image and sound manipulation.
Requirements
- CV (required)
- Links to Portfolio (required)
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
- Practical understanding of the 3D animation pipeline
- Strong animation skills using Blender (3DsMax or Maya is okay but Blender is preferred)
- Solid experience with the Adobe CC Suite (Afinity suite advantageous)
- Experience with Substance Painter (advantageous)
- DSLR Photography skills (advantageous)
- Cinematography skills (advantageous)
This position is exclusive for work on site at our Pretoria offices.
