Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Pretoria East, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.
Home base is a pet food manufacturer on the Pretoria East side of Gauteng.
What you'll actually do
- Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
- Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
- Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
- Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
- Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
- Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
What you need
- Matric
- 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
- Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
- Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
- A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
