A leading organisation within the connected mobility and technology sector is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. Operating in a fast-moving, technology-led and internationally connected environment, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding financial integrity, driving accurate reporting, and providing insights that support smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Process journals and drive accurate month-end reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Monitor cash flow, fixed assets, and capital expenditure.
• Deliver financial reporting and analysis to support finance and business leadership.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate financial information into meaningful commercial insight.
• Support multiple entities and/or business units within a complex corporate environment.
• Assist with resolving financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance matters.
• Contribute to process optimisation and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• 3–6 years’ commercial accounting experience.
• Experience within technology, telecommunications, ICT, logistics, mobility, or a large corporate environment advantageous.
• Strong ERP system experience; SAP experience advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Solid technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience across the full accounting cycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and confident working with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-led environment.
• A genuine interest in using finance to influence business performance.
