We were founded in 2007, and evolved from a small agency that was niched to placing Au Pairs, to becoming leaders in the industry across a wide range of childcare and education placements, including Teachers, Homeschool Teachers, Tutors, Nannies, Night Nurses, Facilitators, Maternity Nurses and of course- Au Pairs. Au Pair Extraordinaire was founded on the principle of trust and integrity, we understand the importance of finding a candidate who is the right fit for a family, and strive to set benchmarks in the industry on screening and matching procedures. We achieve this by applying a rigorous filtering methodology that not only enables us to separate the diamonds from the rough, but also helps us understand the personalities, strengths, beliefs, and talents of each one, so we know which family puzzle they are the missing piece of. We serve to operate with the utmost integrity and guide our practice on international business ethics and codes of conduct. We adopt a holistic top-down approach- placing emphasis on the specific needs and uniqueness of each family as a complete unit to ensure the perfect fit between family, child, and candidate. Area: Bryanston Child's Age: Girl - 11 years (Stage 3) Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 13:00 Duties: Teaching her the curriculum, helping her gain confidence in her work, going through all concepts and going over anything that she needs assistance with throughout the day, building a strong rapport, and helping to instill a system for her to build a revision routine. The ultimate goal is to support her to catch up with her age mates and reintegrate into mainstream school. Special Requirements: Academically strong, who can help her catch up quickly and build confidence. Experience in homeschooling or remedial support primary school level, structured, proactive, helps her stay focused and make consistent progress, forward-thinking and will work with us to reach the goal, Qualified Teacher is preferred Curriculum/School: Cambrilearn, Cambridge Curriculum Start Date and contract term: ASAP - December 2026 Salary: R15 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements: Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years. Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience. Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references. Must have a clear criminal record Must have a passion for children Must have Matric Must have a South African ID document. Closing Date: 2026-08-15
