Customers bring their problems to your counter at a department store service desk in Coega, and leave with answers. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.
The work is in Coega, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.
The work, day to day
- Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
- Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
- Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
- Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
- Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
You'll need
- Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
- Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
- Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
- Accurate with cash and paperwork
- Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
