Key Responsibilities:
Relevant qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years' bookkeeping experience .
Experience working on Sage Evolution (Pastel Evolution) or a similar accounting system is essential.
Experience with SAP Business One will be advantageous.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills.

A well-established organisation is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing, recording, and maintenance of financial transactions across multiple business units. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions, including journals, postings, and adjustments up to trial balance.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with annual audit preparation, including audit packs, fixed asset register audits, and insurance updates.
- Manage the full creditors function, including reconciliations, payment requisitions, banking detail verification, payment loading, and foreign payment documentation.
- Manage debtor accounts, including reconciliations, statements, age analysis, customer credit applications, and Credit Data compliance.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with debt collection activities.
- Process and reconcile company credit cards, petrol cards, petty cash, and bank accounts.
- Process supplier invoices and ensure all relevant documentation is submitted for payment.
- Perform general finance administration and support the Accounts Manager with ad hoc duties.
Relevant qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years' bookkeeping experience .
