Personal Assistant to the Provincial Leadership - KwaZulu Natal

Description The successful candidate will be responsible for: Providing effective and efficient administrative and logistical assistance to the Provincial Director, the Provincial Leader and Provincial Chairperson, including diary management, preparing letters, reports, minutes of meetings and presentations, as well as providing logistical support and conducting meeting preparation. Communicating directly, and on behalf of the Provincial Leadership, with internal departments and external stakeholders, and responding to relevant queries. Requirements Minimum requirements: National Senior Certificate or equivalent Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous) 3 years' experience in a similar role providing support at an executive level Extensive diary management experience Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite and Zoom Valid driver's licence with access to a vehicle for occasional business-related use Skills: Written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft formal correspondence Time management and organisation Administration and attention to detail Telephone and email etiquette Abilities: Manage multiple projects simultaneously Process and understand complex and technical information Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated Work independently Apply sound judgement and confidentiality Knowledge and commitment: Commitment to the principles, policies and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
