As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for more than producing numbers. You'll help interpret financial performance, maintain strong financial controls, and provide the insight needed to support better business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the monthly financial reporting process and ensure accurate management information
- Oversee reconciliations, journals, and month-end close activities
- Evaluate financial results and investigate variances across the business
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Support annual financial statements, audits, and statutory reporting
- Partner with stakeholders to improve financial processes and strengthen financial controls
- BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
- CIMA qualification (essential)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Financial Accountant role
- Mining industry experience (essential)
- Strong ERP systems exposure coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
