Reporting to the relevant manager, the Senior HR Officer will process leave, benefits and onboarding documentation and administer recruitment at a busy team in Carletonville, Gauteng.
Ongoing learning and skills development are encouraged. The position operates within a structured, professional environment. Suitably qualified candidates are encouraged to apply before the closing date.
Key Responsibilities
HR Support
- Assist with employee relations and general HR queries
- Provide advice on HR policies and procedures
- Support performance-management and training processes
HR Administration
- Administer recruitment, appointments and conditions of service
- Maintain accurate personnel records on the HR system
- Process leave, benefits and onboarding documentation
Requirements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidentiality and sound judgement
- Experience in an HR or payroll environment
- Knowledge of relevant labour legislation
- Proficiency in HR / payroll systems
Qualifications
National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
