About the RoleOur client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to support operations for their retail presence in Upington , with a focus on remote oversight and coordination.
You will assist in managing store staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales performance, while also contributing to operational strategies that can be implemented remotely or with hybrid support.
This role requires strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of retail dynamics, and the ability to contribute to both on-site and off-site management tasks in the Northern Cape .
You will be instrumental in fostering a productive team culture and achieving business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Retail Manager in overseeing daily store operations and achieving sales targets.Supervise and coach sales associates, providing guidance on customer service and sales techniques.Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and stock control processes.Help implement company policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Contribute to remote operational strategy development and implementation across different locations.RequirementsProven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.Excellent understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer service principles.Ability to contribute to remote management tasks and adapt to a hybrid work model.Demonstrated ability to drive performance and motivate teams in a retail setting like Upington .
