About the Role Our client is seeking an accomplished Head of Operations - Coastal Region to lead their extensive operational network within the vibrant city of Durban .

You will be responsible for orchestrating all operational facets, driving efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing a substantial budget, all while fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Key Responsibilities Oversee the strategic planning and day-to-day management of all operational functions across the coastal region.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain, logistics, and service delivery processes for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Manage operational budgets, P&L, and resource allocation, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies in Durban .
Implement and enforce robust quality control measures and ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
Requirements Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in managing large-scale operations, supply chains, and logistics within the Coastal Region .
Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management and budget forecasting.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
