One of our top clients is looking for a skilled and experienced Mine Planner to join their team in North West.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor of Science, BTech or Bachelor’s Degree or Advance Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Valid Blasting Certificate (Rock Breaker)
- Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (MMCC)
- Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in Medium term or long -term in pit designs and production schedules.
- At least 3 years of hands-on, underground, or opencast production experience (e.g., serving as a Shiftboss or Mine Overseer) to ensure plans are practical.
- High Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g. Deswik, Datamine, Mine2-4D, Surpac or MineSched)
