About the RoleOur client, a leading manufacturer of advanced specialty chemicals, is looking for a dedicated Specialty Chemicals Production Engineer to join their team in **Polokwane, Limpopo**.
This role is critical for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality production of our diverse product portfolio.
You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing improvements to enhance yield and reduce waste.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and optimize daily production operations for specialty chemical manufacturing.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production, yield, and quality.
Troubleshoot production equipment and process-related issues, implementing timely solutions.
Collaborate with quality control and R&D teams to ensure product specifications are met.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations within the production area.
Maintain accurate production records and generate operational reports.
Support process modifications and new product introductions.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in a chemical production or manufacturing environment.
Experience with specialty chemicals or fine chemicals production is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, separation processes, and material handling.
Proficiency in process control systems and data acquisition.
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO ****).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
