Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of chemical engineering projects, from initiation to closure.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of chemical processes and systems.
Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project alignment.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct project reviews, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project engineers and technical staff.
Communicate project progress, status, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies.
RequirementsMaster's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in chemical engineering, with at least 5 years in project management.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex chemical projects.
Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP certification preferred).
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Strong understanding of chemical process design, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration is required.
