My client is seeking an External Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.MatricTertiary qualification in Maritime studies / Import / Export advantagesMinimum of 6 years experience in shipping or similar environmentAt least 2 years experience in ships agency salesValid drivers licenseClient visitsNew business development, identify and secure new clientsClient retention by maintain existing relationshipsFiling and checking of SQsFreight applications: Apply for rates, routings, feeder space, waivers, etc.Provide customers with freight rate quotationsProvide customer support, i.e. handling of shipment and service queries if required.Liaise with Principal on BIZ mattersShare guidelines, notices, sailing schedulesDatabase updatesWork on tenders and freight contracts negotiationsExternal Sales Consultant (Shipping) Durban, SA - KwaZulu Natal, ZA#J-*****-Ljbffr
