Key Responsibilities
- Analyse client business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications
- Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and requirements workshops with clients and stakeholders
- Work closely with software developers to design and implement effective business solutions
- Support the implementation of International Supply Chain applications across multiple client environments
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful solution delivery within agreed timelines
- Produce clear and comprehensive business and functional documentation
- Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and solution validation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, project objectives, and client expectations
- Manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and structured delivery methodologies
- Work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative project team
Required Skills
- 3–5 years' experience implementing and/or developing IT applications within medium to large organisations
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, ERP, or Warehousing environments
- Strong understanding of International Supply Chain processes, including Import and Export operations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Experience gathering, documenting, and communicating business requirements
- Ability to facilitate client workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across both technical and business audiences
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and project delivery
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL
- Exposure to application integration projects
- Experience working with APIs, Web Services, or other integration technologies
- Knowledge of Customs systems and regulatory processes (SARS or international Customs authorities)
- Experience participating in enterprise software implementation projects
- Understanding of systems integration within international supply chain environments
Qualifications
- National Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3–5 years' Business Analysis experience within Supply Chain or Logistics environments
- Demonstrated experience delivering business and technology solutions for enterprise applications
